in good vintage condition
until recently it was nearly-black with patina, but the patina was uneven and the style of the link makes it difficult to selectively polish patina in the recessed details. So, the choice was made to start over and strip the patina almost-completely, revealing the bright white silver hue. there are still a few areas with some stubborn patina
this appears to be a handmade chain and the links aren't perfectly uniform, which gives the necklace a wonderful, organic look and feel. if you like perfectly uniform links then this is NOT the chain for you
