a 1940s fringe necklace that's deeply inspired by Egyptian fringe necklaces and Victorian era book chains, but this one is much more forgiving and wearable.

the diamond shaped links overlap in a chain of links that is reminiscent of linked arms, hanging from a tight flat curb chain. it was sourced with a nice old clasp, but the clasp was damaged and so now it has a new vintage style bolt clasp that can double as a pendant or charm holder

C O N D I T I O N 

in good vintage condition

-this chain was sourced incredibly dirty and dark with patina. it has been cleaned and cleaned and polished by hand, but some patina still remains and further polishing would have to be done by hand to avoid bending the diamond-shaped links.
-jump rings connecting the chain with clasp and bail are not soldered shut

this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
