not at all station chains are created equal and this is a really nice example featuring diamond shaped links with lucky 8 / infinity symbols in each

it's a shorter length, but could easily accommodate a chain extender

C O N D I T I O N 

in good vintage condition

-this chain's short length likely meant it hasn't been worn much, if at all
-the diamond shaped links have a side that's more finished and a side that's less finished, but whoever assembled it didn't notice this detail, so they aren't all facing the same way
-the curb chain links are soldered directly to the fancy links, and some of the curb chain links near the fancy links are immobilized by solder
-clasp is original and works well, but it's tiny
-the segments of curb chain aren't equal, so there isn't perfect symmetry in the chain, which isn't noticeable when worn
-some stubborn patina throughout the curb chain links

this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
