it was once rhodium plated, which is nearly faded away and results in a surface shine and texture that's inconsistent throughout the clasp

time-earned surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, patina in the design details and inner workings of the clasp, and some gentle bends at the top curve of the receiving end of the clasp. secure clasp and easy hinge.
