V I N T A G E // cowardly lion / sterling silver CHUNKY lion face ring / size 8.5ish

a recently rehabbed very old, chunky, worn, majestic lion ring. until recently the band was cracked in more places than one could count, and it was missing its eyes. it newly has blue topaz eyes that play like sapphires and has been re-banded

solid sterling silver, markings were lost to time

M E A S U R E M E N T S 

measures size 9 on the mandrel, but there's a small gap between the mandrel and the band. given the width of the band and the space between the band and the mandrel it likely fits like a size 8.5ish

measures just over 21mm north to south and tapers to ~5.5mm at the base of the band

nose rises ~8mm off the finger

eyes are each 2mm

weighs 21g

C O N D I T I O N 

in good rehabbed condition

noticeable, larger solder runs at the re-banding seam

one tiny area where there's still a minor crack at the edge of the ring

heavy wear to the details of the mane and face

new eyes are free from damage, but they aren't matched perfectly for color: the left is slightly lighter than the right

this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
