whimsy and romance in the form of a sterling silver chain with stylized rose links, made in a flat, hollow book chain style. each rose is double sided, but made of two pieces positioned back to back to create the illusion of a 3D flower. the front and back pieces are not soldered together, but the individual oval links between the flowers are soldered shut.
could it be a pendant chain? potentially if the pendant is lightweight and has a bail large enough to fit over the flowers. Or, you could potentially wear the spring ring clasp at the front and leverage it as a pendant holder for a charm/pendant with a dainty bail.
this necklace was sourced completely black with patina, and much of that patina was removed, but some remains to add contrast to the design details.

-a few minor bends in the thin oval connector links between the floral links
-roses are puffy/hollow, but thus far they're free from crushed areas
-spring ring clasp works well and appears to be original to the necklace
-this chain was sourced totally blackened with patina. much of the patina has been removed to reveal that it is indeed silver — further hand polishing decisions are left to the next caretaker
