this piece is very art deco inspired, but made much later, which means that it has the size and weight of a 1970s ring, but the design of a much earlier era

in good vintage condition
minor surface wear to the stone, which includes some scratches that are visible without magnification. no visible cracks or significant chips, but it definitely has wear.
the petal-like prongs are holding the stone in securely as a stylized bezel setting, but there is wear to the top of each petal where it wraps over the edge of the stone
where the petal-like shoulders meet the band there's evidence that the ring was either re-banded or reinforced as their are solder seams on either side (with visible pools of solder on the inside of the ring) — please see the photos
inconsistent time-earned patina throughout the ring — further polishing decisions are left to the buyer
this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
