a wild rose in bloom, with a bud ready to offer more abundance — a wearable poem about the magic of the moment and the potential of what's yet to come. this ring set has the potential to be a wedding set — or not — up to you! the band and ring were once soldered together, then cut apart, and then worn for a while as individual rings in a stack. the bands are both thin at the base, which means there's a future choice to be made about whether to solder them back together or whether to add width to each.
the motif is deeply inspired by arts and crafts art nouveau era designs from the 1930s, but it likely dates to the 1970s during an art nouveau revival period amongst designers in the late hippie era.

rose ring: focal bloom measures 7.41mm north/south on the finger and rises up to 6.32mm off the finger. center diamond is partially obscured by the petal-like bezel setting and the visible part of the diamond is 2.85mm across. band tapers to ~1.1mm at thinnest point near the base of the band.
leafy band: measures ~3.2mm north/south at widest point and rises up to 1.65mm off the finger. band tapers to ~1.15mm at thinner point near the base of the band.

in good vintage condition
-this set was sourced with every detail and crevice full of gunk and grime. it's been cleaned and cleaned, but there may still be some stubborn dirt hiding in a recessed detail
-the set has an overall dull luster from having not been polished in decades — polishing decisions are left to the next caretaker as polishing would mean losing the time-earned patina
-the base of the band are THIN and both are bent slightly
-each ring has a flat side from where the bands were cut apart — they stack nicely when the flat sides are touching
-diamonds are free from damage, but will show surface wear under magnification
this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
