like real insects, these two aren't exactly the same size, meaning the cabochons aren't calibrated standard sizes. one measures ~10.7mm north/south and the other measures ~10.8mm north/south

in good vintage condition
-it's hard to know what the story is with the back sides of the settings — there's a gold semi-metallic overlay on the exposed backs of the oval stones (beneath the center gold support bar that runs north/south over the stone) and this overlay has heavy scratching, like someone tried to remove it. a mystery.
-one of the support bars to which the post is attached is bent away from the flat back of the stone slightly. this doesn't impact it's strength or how the earring looks when worn, but it's a time-earned quirk worth mentioning
-sturdy backs, but they're very very slightly mismatched, though they're in the same general style
this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
