it's a rare treat to have a little bit of provenance with a vintage item, but this one came with a little hand written note with old handwriting dating this ring to Christmas 1944. it has the original older cut diamonds with fewer facets (old European cut?) and they lean toward salt/pepper in terms of color and inclusions
the stones are framed with white gold settings to enhance their sparkle
the height of the setting helps ensure that this half eternity band won't spin on the finger

-it's been a long while since this ring was polished so it has a matte luster
