this ring originally had a giant, synthetic vibrant blue spinel stone, which really wasn't the right fit for this organic, rustic, whimsical setting. It took several years to find the right stone, but here it is — a ~13mm black rutilated quartz

weighs 7.1g including the stone

C O N D I T I O N 

in good vintage condition

although the stone is new it has minor surface scratches (see photo)

the setting is in great condition, with only minor softening to the design details. I do not think that the goddess/figure on the side of the setting originally had more defined features

the band was preciously sized up, resulting in a slightly oval shape of the ring's band
