until very recently this soaring bird of prey with a diamond catch was a tie tack, which meant it wasn't worn much. it has newly been transformed to a pendant with a double bail so it has can move — and now it's a one-of-a-kind pendant that's full of potential symbolism

smaller bail is soldered to the wing, larger bail is a sturdy oval jump ring bail that is not soldered shut

in good upcycled condition

-new 14k bails — the larger bail has a few minor dents from pliers
-modest time-earned patina in the design details of the wings
-diamond is free from damage, but will show minor surface wear under magnification
-minor inconsistencies in hue on the back of the pendant where the original pin hardware was removed

his is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
