maybe 15 years ago the first draft of this necklace was assembled by pairing together parts of vintage chains and adding on a new at the time bird. finally, it recently asked to be finished and offered up to its next person

the bird is very sweet and offers a heart on one of its wings

sterling silver with glass beads

33" necklace length with ~4.5" dangle — this necklace does NOT have a clasp, so it is amply long to fit over a head

bird measures has a ~19mm wingspan

trombone style chain is ~3mm wide

weighs 15.3g

C O N D I T I O N 

in good upcycled vintage condition

the bird was new when the piece was assembled, but it was cast in a way that gives it the appearance of being old

the bails on either side of the glass bead stations are NOT soldered or wire wrapped, so force isn't their friend, but they're all closed and secure for now

modest time-earned patina throughout the links and some time-earned bends in some of the trombone style links
