very rarely these spectacular figural crescent and big cat fraternity pins come onto the market and they always beckon to be converted into pendants. There are varying stories about which organization they represented originally, but a theme seems to be that it may have been about music, which kind of fits with the roaring mouth.

it makes a striking pendant, with a nice color contrast pop between the blue and yellow enamel, but is also wonderful mixed into a jumble of charms

low karat 9k-10k rosy yellow gold with inlay enamel, mystery burgundy stone eyes, and new 14k yellow gold bails

C O N D I T I O N 

in good upcycled condition

there's a tiny bit of damage to the yellow enamel at the top point of the crescent moon shape and some fading to the blue enamel throughout 

surface scratches, dents and dings where the pin hardware was removed and some of the original yellow solder shouldn't be fully removed from the rosy gold setting

original cabochon eyes are intact, but have not been evaluated to determine if they're genuine stone or paste
