a pre-loved faceted flat curb chain has been dressed up with new hardware to make it a more dynamic layer in a neck mess. the original hardware on either end has been removed (and removed the 925 hallmarks in the process) and replaced with new bails and a new carabiner style clasp that can double as a charm/pendant holder. the result is a watch chain inspired style, but with modern shine.

gold over sterling silver. gold plating is a lesson in non attachment and it will wear away revealing the silver beneath. re-plating is an option, but it's not possible to predict how quickly the plating will fade.

the clasp and jump rings are new and free from damage, but they may have a thinner gold plating/wash than the chain, which could mean a variance in how the plating fades over time

curb links have very minor wear and some time-earned patina, which gives the chain a brassier hue than the new hardware

this is a preloved item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
