a vintage Y2K era fancy link chain impersonating a fancy tennis necklace has been dressed up with new hardware to turn it into a modern day watch chain necklace.
the original hardware on either end has been removed (and removed the original hallmarks in the process) and replaced with new bails and a new dog clip style clasp that can double as a charm/pendant holder. the result is a watch chain inspired style, but with modern shine.
the white stones are glass, not diamonds, but they're securely held in prong settings — overall this chain has wonderful construction.
the dog clip style clasp does NOT swivel
gold over sterling silver — gold plating is a lesson in non attachment and it will wear away revealing the silver beneath. the chain is a more pale hue than the new hardware as some of the plating is wearing away and revealing the sterling silver beneath. re-plating is an option, but it's not possible to predict how quickly the plating will fade.

the clasp and jump rings are new and free from damage so they're a brighter yellow hue than the rest of the chain
the necklace chain has wear to the gold plating, which gives it a pale yellow hue, which means there's a mismatch in hue between the chain links and the new hardware on either end.
the stones are glass — they're all accounted for, but some may have minor surface wear
this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
