a fancy knotted chain reminiscent of a trombone link chain has been re-worked with a new clasp reminiscent of a watch chain — a new clasp in the style of a dog clip clasp, but without the swivel feature, and a new sailor bolt clasp.

in good reworked vintage condition
-we will never know why, but this chain was sourced coated in a clear sealant that had turned brittle and was stuck in every crack and crevice of the knotted details. we won't talk about how much thorough cleaning this chain required (eye roll), but it was worth it to bring this dynamic link into its next lifetime
-jump rings between chain and clasp/bail are not soldered shut, but they're a thick, sturdy gauge.
-clasps are new and have minimal wear and are currently free from patina, but that will change quickly as the clasps and bails are exposed to the air
this is a reworked vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
