the most recent manifestation of the memento mori conversion ring project I seem to have going over here. a wearable prayer about being present and grateful and aware of our mortality, rather than floating through this lifetime with the illusion of forever ahead of us.
this is a true one of a kind. each one of the memento mori rings has its own personality, and per usual, this is crafted from a vintage slightly rosy yellow 10k gold fraternal pin paired with a true yellow gold 14k and diamond cluster band. the skull's face has new diamond eyes, replacing the old synthetic eyes

the original fraternal Greek inlaid enamel letters have been hand filed off of the skull's forehead and the whole piece carefully designed and assembled to make it a perfect stacking ring, *listing is for the skull ring only. any other jewelry shown is for styling inspiration, only*

slightly out-of-round size 8.75 (doesn't sit flush on the sizing mandrel). the curvature of the face of the band can't change, so that limits sizing considerably. it can be sized up 1-2 sizes easily and can be sized down to an 8 without trouble, but other sizes will require consultation with a jeweler first

~6mm total rise off the finger at the center of the setting
there's a 2mm rise underneath the skull's head, meaning it can be stacked with a ring that's up to 3mm thick/tall

the forehead has some inconsistencies throughout the surface from where the inlaid enamel Greek letters were removed
one of the band's original diamonds has a surface chip/inconsistency
solder marks visible where the skull was joined with the setting
