a true one of a kind old-meet-new statement ring that could easily be an engagement ring. an art nouveau setting had at some point lost its original stone, so a grey salt and pepper diamond was sourced with heart and determination to pair with this setting. prongs were carefully re-worked and re-tipped to ensure that the prongs are as tight and low profile as possible to make them slightly less snaggy than some of their prong peers.

the setting is old—nearly antique—and the relief carved details of the femme faces and flowers in their hair beneath the diamond setting do show softening and wear
the stone is new and free from damage, but it does have some minor surface inconsistencies, which is common for salt & pepper diamonds, which are celebrated because of their inclusions
prongs have been rehabbed especially for this stone and so the stone
a visible sizing area at the base of the band shows that this ring was sized up significantly in the past
this is a very vintage, nearly antique item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
