a coveted vintage JC Penny service pin has been reworked into a ring by marrying it with a vintage wedding band. the golden ruler was meant to symbolize the golden rule of treating others the way you'd wish to be treated. seems like this is a lesson humanity is struggling with.
this is a true one of a kind made to be stackable with other rings. JC Penny did make service rings, but they were signets, and not all fingers love wearing wide, flat back rings, so alas, this ring came into fruition.

in good reworked vintage condition
-all components are vintage, so they have wear commensurate with age, including fading to the darkened areas in the lines of the ruler
-stones have minor surface wear
-inconsistency in hue from the solder wear the original pin hardware was removed
-the rules has six 90 degree angles, all of which are sharp corners. up to you whether to have them buffed down to reduce sharpness
-variations in hue between the band and ruler
-center stone is more yellow than the side stones
this is a reworked vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
