an incredibly ornate, fierce, whimsical floral arrangement framed by juxtaposing shapes

made into a pendant recently from an antique brooch with a pin that had seen better days

low karat victorian gold (in the 8k-10k range)

M E A S U R E M E N T S 

~25.5mm north to south excluding bails x ~21mm wide

large bail has a ~5.5mm opening

weighs 2.4g (hollow form)

C O N D I T I O N 

in good antique condition

time-earned patina that adds incredible contrast to the design details

surface scratches, minor dents, dings, and dulling

there are visible areas on the back of the pendant where the hue and texture are different where the pin was removed and the hue varies because of original solder and lack of patina

there are some deep lines from the florals toward the edge of the frame, which aren't cracks, but are maybe deep deep scratches either mistakes from the engraving process or picked up from an adventure long ago. they've been there long enough to gain their own patina.
