you've asked nicely to buy the custom chain that lives on my neck, and so I designed on just for you!
voila! a solution to when you want to wear a chunky, significant chain, but you also want to wear a pendant (or two, or many), and you'd like the option to easily switch between the two styles. You choose! You can wear the chunky silver carabiner clasp as an extender clasp at the end of the gold chain styled in the front with pendants/charms hanging from the clasp, or remove the silver carabiner and wear the chain as dynamic, glistening flat chain.
a vintage flat, faceted oval 10k yellow gold curb chain necklace has been modified to include an antique solid 10k dog clip at one end and a solid stationary 10k bail at the other end. the silver carabiner has a hard-to-find narrow hoop, which accommodates most pendant bails.

in good upcycled condition
-round bail at the end of the curb chain is soldered shut and stationary, meaning it is soldered/fixed to the end of the curb chain link it is attached to
-antique dog clip is almost a matched hue with the 10k chain, but the dog clip does have significant patina
-carabiner clasp is vintage and has some time-earned character, including having a time-earned freeform shape, but the mechanism works well and easily and has a snug closure
-curb chain is vintage and does have modest patina
this is an upcycled vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
