a bright, shiny byzantine chain has been reworked with a vintage carabiner style clasp that doubles as a charm holder if you choose that route. the chain links are bright and shiny thanks to rhodium plating

the carabiner clasp has a hinged mechanism with a secure closure and can hold quite a few charms

in good vintage condition

-this is what could be described as a budget byzantine chain. the links are likely semi-hollow and the round connector links are sturdy, but not soldered shut. And, it's rhodium plated, which is a practice in non-attachment, as rhodium plating fades unevenly over time. luckily, the texture and style of the chain will mostly hide this wear
-carabiner clasp has lots of dents and dings, but works well
-new jump rings at either end are new and sturdy, but not soldered shut

this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
