a small, bug significant, one-of-a-kind conversion pendant crafted from a very vintage 10k yellow gold winged star pin into a pendant with a double hidden bail, which offers plenty of styling possibilities. Would you wear it on a chain as shown in the photo? use it as an extender for a short watch chain that has clasps at either end? let it dangle from one bail and hang at an angle? 

thorough google searches haven't uncovered the original provenance of the winged star pin, but it was most likely a service pin for the aviation industry or a pilot's wings from the Pan Am era of flight
