if these ladies could talk they'd tell us some tales, but alas, they're not revealing their provenance. Is this Hera? maybe! do you share the pet peeve when two earrings are facing in the same direction, instead of being mirror images? maybe! will you wear them as is or have them converted to pendants? hard to know!

solid 14k ovals and earring posts (both confirmed via XRF and acid testing) + plastic earring backs

M E A S U R E M E N T S 

ovals measure ~18mm x ~14mm x ~2.18mm 

ear posts are on the longer side at ~11.2mm long

combined weight without plastic earring backs is 2.6g

C O N D I T I O N 

in good upcycled antique condition

-these are expertly crafted repousse designs with lots of time earned patina and character
-they appear to be from cufflinks, with the supporting bridge repurposed as an attachment point for the earring posts
-the earring backs are plastic and have a nice, snug fit on the posts, but it's curious that the backs aren't uniform in length
-plenty of visible solder and scratch marks from the conversion process on the backside of the earrings
-at least one file mark from a very thorough acid testing
-modest softening to the raised design details

this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
