a beautiful illusion! crafted in sterling silver with yellow and white gold plating, it's meant to look like a diamond tennis necklace, but there are actually only three tiny low quality diamonds present

the center of the necklace features articulated panels on the sides, and a stationary segment at its center, which hang in a gentle chevron, and the bismark chain offers flexible movement and visual intrigue, while continuing the flat style

C O N D I T I O N 

in good pre-loved condition

while this chain necklace has gold plating, the plating is a lesson in impermanence. it will eventually wear away revealing the sterling silver beneath. there are already some areas with color variations, though it's hard to know if its from wear. in the center panel the left side appears more brassy, likely from patina, and the area toward the bottom. of the settings is silver in color — this is either from the white gold plating on the pave style settings bleeding onto the panel, or its from the gold plating having worn away in this area
