abracadabra! YOU ARE THE SPELL! 'I create as I speak.'
they've tried so hard to make us forget the magic in all of us, and yet this Aramaic incantation has persisted and we're relearning that it's more than stage magic.
what better way to bring this spell into our everyday than by marrying old and new: an old victorian era medal component was turned upside down and freshly adorned by a hand engraver in SF to read 'abracadabra' in a font that honors yesteryear. a mold was made of the original reworked piece so that there would be more than one. It was cast in Tennessee, casting excess was polished off in Oakland, and it was hand finished with patina and sterling silver jump ring bails in SF.
this pendant has two bails, neither of which are soldered shut, which offers plenty of styling possibilities: wear it on a chain as-is, position other tiny charms between the two bails on a chain, wear it with a clasp hooked into either end like a chain extender, and more!
