a true one of a kind upside down rose cut diamond with all the character of the universe set in an organic handmade art deco inspired setting, paired with a sturdy vintage band

solid 14k and natural salt & pepper rose cut diamond

P R O C E S S

The setting's art deco inspired shield shape was handcrafted using lost wax casting techniques and so it is organic and lacks symmetry

an organic geometric shield accents the rose cut diamond, which was mounted upside down so that it has a flat top and all of the beautiful salt & pepper inclusions are highly visible

the band chosen is a simple vintage half round band, which was added after the setting was cast and does show wear, because it had lives before this one, but that matches the organic, imperfect surface of the handmade setting

The stone is secured with a custom bezel setting and the point of the diamond does make contact with the skin in the style of a Vedic ring

measures size ~7.5 on a mandrel, but fits more like a size 7.25 — this style can easily be sized by your jeweler

setting measures ~14.05mm x 9.2mm tall x ~1.3mm rise off the finger
