in good estate condition
-the tubes are hollow, but sturdy, and free from crushed areas, though one hoop has a minor flattened area higher up on the side of the hoop ~5.5mm from the hinge (see photo)
-are there some tiny micro-dents we'd see with magnification? likely!
-easy hinged, secure tension closure
-the ends of the tubes are open, so moisture IS able to get into the tubes
this is a preloved estate item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
