well, this is a treat! a beloved late art deco band was re-banded at an earlier date to replace the thin original band, enlarge the size, and provide a new chapter for a very old ring. now it's a rare example of an art deco setting with its original single cut melee diamonds in a hard-to-find size.

setting is ~2.8mm north/south on the finger and rises ~1.75mm off the finger
diamonds are each ~1.5mm
base of band is ~1.9mm wide

C O N D I T I O N
in good rehabbed antique condition
-diamonds are free from damage, but will show minor surface wear under magnification
-settings around diamonds have softened, especially around the center stone where the pave setting has worn to more of a flush setting
-ring's band was replaced at an earlier date from just below the shoulder on either side — it's safe to assume this was when the band was sized up and the replacement band is more sturdy than what we'd expect for this style, which is a nice treat
-heavy wear to the raised/die cast details on the shoulders
this is a vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
