patina is as-found, which is inconsistently distributed across the links

the construction of this piece leverages soldered connector bails on one end of each link that hooks hole through a hole in the neighboring link. the links and holes are very small, and each link was hand soldered shut, so the overall vibe of the piece is more organic than polished

links have more of a matte finish
