a wearable reminder of the interconnectedness of it all. a north star. a service award representing how great prizes can come for persistence, effort, and time. a reminder of an era with a working class that could afford to live well.

until recently this five point star was a pin that had raised letters and numbers between the star and the wreath to denote the engineering company for which it was a service award pin. the letters and numbers were expertly removed, as was the pin's hardware, new 14k findings were added and it now makes a wonderful pendant

in good reworked condition

-time-earned patina, especially in the recessed details
-hue and luster inconsistencies on the back of the round pendant where the pin's hardware was removed

this is a reworked vintage item and will show surface scratches, dents, dings, dulling, wear, patina, and signs of having been worn and loved
